To live knowing that no matter what you do your soul belongs to the devil…does food have more flavor? Does money have less value? Does God honor this contract? Even if you live well? If he exists, then why?
“I sold my soul, but not my conscience.”
If the devil owns your afterlife, does he own your life too? No good deeds to be done…no matter how hard you might try. Can your actions always have dire consequences, even when your motivation is compassion? If you come to a four way stop, at the same time as someone else, and you let that person go first, only then, they run over a child—whose fault was it? Does this redefine good and bad?
After selling your soul…does it weigh heavy on the mind? Is DEATH your master in life? Or is the soul simply evil, and therefore your conscience goes with it. Or does the devil control your actions, force your hand against your will; is your will gone, and your conscience in place?
If god honors this contract, then is he unforgiving? If God honors this contract, how can we continue to believe?
Does believing in the devil mean that you believe in god, or can a soul be sold carelessly, without belief?
There are no devils, no gods, no afterlife, no creation.
Without a creator, what is there?
